Join Novo Step Challenge

Colleagues form teams of three or more, count their steps through the working day, and follow their team against the others.

There is no training goal and nothing to qualify for. What we need now are team captains.

Will you walk with us?

I have created a team for Novo Step Challenge. A team is at least three people and I am the first — I would like you to be one of the others.

It is a step count, not a training programme: you enter your steps every day.

What people ask

Do I need a step counter?

Your phone already counts. You type the number in once a day — nothing is connected or installed.

What if I do not walk?

Other exercise converts into steps. Choose the activity and the minutes, and Novo Step Challenge works out the rest.

Who can see my steps?

Your team and the standings. Nobody is told how much you exercise, and no health conclusion is drawn from it.

How much time does it take?

Ten minutes to set a team up, then a few seconds a day.

Is it a competition?

There are standings, two prize draws and a vote for the best team name, and teams are ranked on the average per member so a big team has no advantage.

Can I join once it has started?

Yes. You can also enter steps for days that have already passed, until step entry closes.
